FELTShine legal information

Terms of service

These draft terms govern use of the FELTShine platform by detailers and explain FELTShine's role when customers book a detailing service.

Draft version: 28 September 2026

Draft for staging review. This wording reflects the current test-mode service and requires qualified legal review before production launch. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not restricted by this draft.

About FELTShine

FELTShine provides software that helps independent vehicle detailers manage services, availability, bookings, customer communications and payments. FELTShine does not provide the vehicle-detailing service. The detailer is responsible for the service supplied to the customer and remains the merchant of record for customer booking payments.

Accounts and eligibility

Detailer accounts are for lawful business use. You must provide accurate information, protect your sign-in details and ensure that anyone using the account is authorized to act for the business. You are responsible for your catalogue, prices, availability, customer service and compliance with laws that apply to your business.

Subscription and VAT

The current introductory offer is €1 for the first month, followed by €29 per month. One simultaneous booking slot is included. A detailer may add up to nine further simultaneous slots at €10 per slot per month. The introductory reduction applies once to the base subscription and does not reduce capacity add-ons.

FELTShine is not VAT-registered and does not charge VAT on its platform subscription fees. Detailers are responsible for any VAT applicable to their own services.

Stripe processes subscriptions. A subscription renews monthly until it is cancelled. The billing portal shows the current plan, renewal date and cancellation status. A cancellation takes effect according to the date displayed in that portal. Mandatory legal rights, where applicable, are not restricted.

Stripe Connect and customer payments

A detailer must complete Stripe's connected-account onboarding before accepting booking payments. Stripe may require identity, business, bank and tax information. The detailer is responsible for its Stripe agreement, payment-processing fees, disputes, chargebacks and negative balances.

FELTShine does not charge a commission on customer bookings. Stripe processing and other payment-provider fees may apply to the detailer's connected Stripe account.

Customer bookings

A customer's contract for the detailing service is with the selected detailer. FELTShine provides the booking and payment technology. The detailer controls the service description, price, availability, fulfilment, cancellation notice and customer support for the detailing work. Customers should check the booking summary and the detailer's information before paying.

The separate cancellation and refund policy explains the platform's self-service process. It does not remove statutory rights or any additional obligation owed by the detailer.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to mislead another person.
  • Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not interfere with security, access controls, availability or another tenant's data.
  • Do not use the service to send unsolicited marketing or harmful content.

Business content

A detailer keeps ownership of its business information and media. The detailer gives FELTShine permission to host, display, back up and process that content only as needed to provide and protect the service. The detailer must ensure its content is accurate, lawful and does not infringe another person's rights.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep FELTShine available and to preserve booking and payment records, but maintenance, provider incidents or security events may interrupt access. We may change the service or these terms for a valid operational, legal or security reason. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice where practicable.

Suspension and termination

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to protect customers, other users, payment systems or the service, or where the account materially breaches these terms. We will explain the reason and available review path unless law or security prevents us from doing so. Detailers may cancel their subscription through the billing portal.

Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits a person's mandatory statutory rights. To the extent permitted by law, FELTShine is not responsible for the quality or performance of a detailer's vehicle service, or for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the relevant contract was made. Any final limitation of liability requires qualified legal approval before production launch.

Complaints and governing law

Contact adim@feltshine.com about a platform issue. A customer should contact the detailer first about the detailing service. These terms are governed by Irish law, without removing any mandatory protection or court access available under applicable law.
